Burning Hearts

SUNDAYS AT 10:15AM

They said to each other, “Did not our hearts burn within us while he talked to us on the road, while he opened to us the Scriptures?” - Luke 24:32

Led by Aaron Shuford, Burning Hearts is a Bible study that seeks to give you the tools to understand God's Word and teach others. We will explore the grand story and major themes of Scripture. We also hope to demystify the difficult portions of the Bible using sound biblical interpretation. The overarching goal is to equip you to read and understand Scripture for yourself. Each week, we will discuss a theme of scripture or tool of interpretation and apply it to a passage of Scripture. As we open God's Word, we pray the Holy Spirit will renew our minds and kindle a burning love for Jesus. This group meets in the upstairs classroom; childcare and carpools are not provided. Aaron recommends bringing a Bible, notebook, and pen to this group.

Disciple Life

1ST WEDNESDAYS AT 6PM
open to everyone

Led by Luther Beck, this group is temporarily meeting every first Wednesday at Harvest House to gather in prayer; regular meetings will resume in January 2020. The group was started out of a deep desire to obey Jesus Christ when He gave us the order in Matthew 28:19-20: “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” We are not only called to learn the teachings of Jesus, but to LIVE them. We worship the Lord together through song, prayer, reading the Word, and sharing our lives. As crazy as life can and will get, we need each other to grow and stay on track. Disciple Life is for all ages and all stages of this journey. Those stronger in the faith will help the weaker learn and flourish into the destiny God has for them, and the ones earlier in their walk will get to ask questions and discover the beauty of the Body of Christ, the Kingdom of God, the gifts of the Holy Spirit and the Power of the Gospel in their lives and in this Revival. We meet in homes, parks, and as God leads us to we will put our faith into action (hitting the streets) with the good news!

Families and children are welcome; carpools will be provided on a case-by-case basis.
